the best deal

l
Not so long ago in one of Pacific islands there was a king who loved big game hunting. The king had made his preparations to sail into the mainland where he was promised elephants, rhinos and tigers to shoot. Before he went his priest approached him and said, “Sire I am your conscience keeper. So I would also accompany you.”
The king said, ”Oh no. As you can see every available space is taken up.” “But there is one seat still free.” The priest persisted.
“That is for my guide. For a hunt I trust his skills more than yours.” Seeing disappointment in the face of his priest the king said,” Ah you can do one thing for me. You can do it without stirring from this island.”
“What that be sire?” “Do sacrifices to the gods for a successful outcome of the hunt.” The king replied.
* Self would look for success in any enterprise the best deal which it can get. If man’s actions do not speak for himself he cannot speak for anything else.
