Read To Your Profit, Man!

President Bush has often evoked the name of God and yet he does not seem to have taken, in a dire need for himself and for the nation, the much needed warning from His Word. " Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?" (Lk 14:31) In our moments of perplexity we only need to look about us and take warning. If you are of a certain persuasion to think the Bible as inerrant, look into it in deep humility and not with any prior judgment, and there may be something of use. Of course ultimately your mind should properly weigh all evidences available to take the right course. Having done all to stand the course as worthy of a man; it is the mark of a fool to insist 'stay-the-course' when your strategy has not taken off the ground and losses are mounting.
There is no shame for a nation in cutting the losses and the ruler benefits by such a change because he has spared unnecessary losses that otherwise he is bound to incur.
